Putting on a brave face…

… when someone who helped so many passes over. She was a very kind soul.

Today I had a go with the engraver, scraper, and burnisher. A first attempt is always a bit pants without expert guidance…

Well it was good to have a couple of short sessions in the shed. The neighbour is busy doing home improvements ~ I’m thinking of doing a print to say thank you. Tomorrow I’ll take some study shots…

Oh! I’ll check my phone for reversing images. If no joy I’ll take my laptop.

I’ve been forward thinking too. I may not be able to make a living but perhaps I could raise some funds for charity to help others… so I’m thinking about Christmas already… tree decorations etc…

Earlier I was looking for enamel and came across some more silver for crafting. There was also some green gold leaf for the kiln. More encouragement for using the scroll saw. I’ll look again at hallmarks… but I’m thinking small pendants…
