… they needed a little bit of care, so first some conditioner:

~ in the end I went for Leather Honey. They started softening up quickly. Unfortunately the rubber on my boots cracked… so perhaps some flexible shoe glue for them. The fit of the protection was good… and the back protector has no issues… just need a first ride with them. The VFR needs more fuel and a run too:
